At St. Timothy we adhere to traditional Lutheran worship practices.
Word: Preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. God was born a baby, taught and lived radical love, died on a cross, resurrected on the third day, and promised continuing ongoing presence through the power of the Holy Spirit. This radical love and constant presence is an unmerited gift from the Triune God Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer.
Sacrament: It is our intention to always offer the Lord’s Supper (aka communion, eucharist, mass) at every worship gathering. We also have a less formal bible study with communion on Tuesdays at 2pm.
Music and Offering: Word and Sacrament are ways that the congregation is spiritually nourished to live in this world. Singing praise to God and giving of ourselves, our time, and our money is our humble way to give back to God in gratitude of all that God has given us.
